Yes. The W213 has 64-colour ambient lighting in the dash and door trims, but the footwells, door pockets and rear doors are usually dark. We add strips there that follow the factory colour and dim with it. On a W212 the factory strip is a single line at best, so most owners have us fit a full kit in the doors, dashboard and footwells instead.
How much does ambient lighting cost on a Mercedes-Benz E-Class?
It depends on the generation. W211 (2002–2009): from €800; W212 (2009–2016): from €800; W213 (2016–2023): from €800; W214 (2023 on): from €800. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

How long does ambient lighting take on a Mercedes-Benz E-Class?
Two to four hours on the Mercedes-Benz E-Class W211, W212, W213 and W214. You can wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
What stays factory when you fit ambient lighting on a Mercedes-Benz E-Class?
On every E-Class we work on — W211, W212, W213 and W214 — the kit runs off a fused feed and the factory ambient lighting stays; colour and brightness are set from your phone.
