Ask on WhatsAppMy 2017 F-Pace has the 10-inch screen. Can CarPlay be switched on?
We check that first. From the 2018 model year the 10.2-inch InControl Touch Pro can carry CarPlay and Android Auto as a locked option, and on those cars a software switch-on is all it takes. Earlier Touch Pro cars and the 8-inch InControl Touch cannot, so they get our wireless CarPlay box, which shows CarPlay on the original screen by touch and keeps every Jaguar menu.
Is the facelift F-Pace wireless already?
Pivi Pro cars from 2020 have wired CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, and JLR added wireless CarPlay through software on many of them. If yours still asks for the cable, a small adapter in the USB port does the job and your phone connects on its own. We also sort pairing problems and map regions on imported cars.
How much does CarPlay cost on a Jaguar F-Pace?
It depends on the generation. X761 (2016–2020): from €450; Facelift X761 (2020 on): from €150. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

X761: two to four hours; Facelift X761: about an hour. You can wait at the workshop or drop the F-Pace in the morning and collect it the same day.

X761: the InControl Touch 8-inch on early cars, InControl Touch Pro 10.2-inch on most; CarPlay as an option on Touch Pro from 2018 and its controls stay; the box sits behind the trim and is switched from the factory buttons. Facelift X761: CarPlay is factory-fitted, so we only add to it.
