Power comes from the fuse panel behind the glovebox through a hardwire kit with a low-voltage cut-off, so parking mode cannot flatten the battery. The cable runs behind the A-pillar trim and along the headliner, out of sight, and a rear camera follows the roof lining to the tailgate. On mild-hybrid and plug-in cars we use the 12 V side only. Two to three hours.
How much does dash cam cost on a Jaguar F-Pace?
It depends on the generation. X761 (2016–2020): from €200; Facelift X761 (2020 on): from €200. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

One to two hours for a front camera, about two with a rear camera on the Jaguar F-Pace X761 and Facelift. You can wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.

On every F-Pace we work on — X761 and Facelift — nothing is cut: the camera runs off fuse taps with a low-voltage cut-off, so parking mode records and stops before the battery is flat.
