2016–2019 cars with InControl Touch or Touch Pro, for wireless CarPlay boxes and dash cams; our F-Pace case study is a 2016 car. Pivi Pro cars from 2020 come for dash cams, wireless adapters and extended ambient lighting. The SVR is the same job as the rest of the range.
Does the Meridian system stay?
Yes. The CarPlay box and adapters use the car's own inputs and the amplifier is never touched, so the Meridian system keeps every speaker. A dash cam and ambient lighting are separate circuits, nothing is cut, and the car goes back to standard if it is returned at the end of a lease.

What does Radio King fit on a Jaguar F-Pace?
CarPlay: Wireless box on 2016–2020 InControl cars without CarPlay, wireless adapter on Pivi Pro cars from 2020. Dash cam: Hardwired from the fuse panel behind the glovebox with a cut-off set for the Jaguar's battery. Ambient lighting: Ambient LED kit on 2016–2020 cars, extended factory ambient on the Pivi Pro facelift. Reversing camera: Factory-look camera on the factory screen with guidelines, coded in where the car supports it. Car radio: Larger Android screen with the factory buttons and amplifier kept, where the original display is too small. Speakers: Plug-in door speakers and tweeters, factory head unit and amplifier kept, no cutting. Parking sensors: Colour-matched sensors with a factory-style tone, shown on the screen where the car supports it. Subwoofer: Under-seat or boot subwoofer on a DSP amplifier fed from the factory unit, boot space kept. Soundproofing: Doors and floor treated with butyl and foam, trim refitted without marks.
How long do jobs on a Jaguar F-Pace take?
CarPlay: under an hour for activation, two to four hours for a box or a screen. Dash cam: one to two hours for a front camera, about two with a rear camera. Ambient lighting: two to four hours. Reversing camera: two to three hours. Most F-Pace owners wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
Do you keep the factory system on a Jaguar F-Pace?
X761: the InControl Touch 8-inch on early cars, InControl Touch Pro 10.2-inch on most; CarPlay as an option on Touch Pro from 2018 stays and we add to it. Facelift X761: the Pivi Pro 11.4-inch curved touchscreen with wired CarPlay and Android Auto standard; wireless on many cars after software updates stays and we add to it. Steering-wheel buttons, factory amplifiers and cameras are carried over on every route; the only route that changes what you see is an Android screen, and even then the controls are kept.
