Yes. The car has an ordinary 12 V battery that runs the lights, locks and screen, and the dash cam is wired to that through the fuse panel under the glovebox. The high-voltage battery is never involved. Because the 12 V battery on an EV is small, we set the parking-mode cut-off conservatively, and the car tops it up from the main pack when it wakes, so parking recording still works.

It depends on the generation. Sensus CMA (2017–2021): from €180; Google CMA (2020 on): from €180. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.
