Largely, yes. The Ateca shares its platform and MIB units with the Tiguan AD1 of the same years, under SEAT names, so the coding and camera routes are identical; the Cupra Ateca is the same again. Send the reg and we confirm which unit the car has.

Reversing camera: Factory-style badge camera coded into the Media System with guidelines on both pre-facelift and facelift cars. CarPlay: Full Link coding and wireless adapters on 2016–2020 MIB2 cars, factory wireless CarPlay on the facelift. Car radio: Larger Android screen with the factory buttons and amplifier kept, where the original display is too small. Ambient lighting: Ambient LED kits in doors and dash, extended factory ambient on newer cars, app controlled. Speakers: Plug-in door speakers and tweeters, factory head unit and amplifier kept, no cutting. Parking sensors: Colour-matched sensors with a factory-style tone, shown on the screen where the car supports it. Dash cam: Hardwired from the fuse box with parking mode and a low-voltage cut-off, cables hidden. Subwoofer: Under-seat or boot subwoofer on a DSP amplifier fed from the factory unit, boot space kept. Soundproofing: Doors and floor treated with butyl and foam, trim refitted without marks.

Reversing camera: two to three hours. CarPlay: under an hour for activation, two to four hours for a box or a screen. Car radio: two to three hours, usually the same day. Ambient lighting: two to four hours. Most Ateca owners wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
