On 2018-on facelift cars, yes, wired CarPlay and Android Auto are there from the factory, and a wireless adapter is the only upgrade. On 2015 to 2018 cars R-Link 2 shipped without it; some were updated by a dealer to later software that mirrors a phone, most were not. If yours has no phone menu, our Kadjar Android screen in the same position is the route. Send the reg and we check.
Will the Kadjar Android screen keep the climate controls?
Yes. The Kadjar-specific unit we stock for 2015 to 2018 cars carries the climate display on screen, keeps the steering-column stalk and the parking-sensor tone, and adds DAB and a reversing camera input. It sits in the R-Link 2 aperture with its own fascia, so nothing is cut. Fitting takes about half a day and the car is ready the same afternoon.
How much does CarPlay cost on a Renault Kadjar?
