With our Captur Android screen in place of the Media Nav or R-Link unit: wireless CarPlay and Android Auto on a 9-inch display, the steering-column stalk kept, DAB and a reversing camera input built in. Cars from the 2017 facelift with Media Nav Evolution may already have Android Auto and, on late software, CarPlay, so those only need a wireless adapter. Send the reg and we tell you which yours is.
Is CarPlay wireless on the Captur II?
On 2019 to 2024 cars with Easy Link it is wired on the 7-inch and the 9.3-inch screen, so a wireless adapter is the usual upgrade: it plugs into the USB port, sits out of sight and connects the phone as you get in. The 2024 facelift with OpenR Link has wireless CarPlay and Android Auto from the factory, so there is nothing to add.
How much does CarPlay cost on a Renault Captur?
It depends on the generation. Mk1 (2013–2019): from €290; Mk2 (2019–2024): from €250; Mk2.5 (2024 on): from €250. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

How long does CarPlay take on a Renault Captur?
Mk1: two to three hours; Mk2: two to three hours; Mk2.5: about an hour. You can wait at the workshop or drop the Captur in the morning and collect it the same day.
What stays factory when you fit CarPlay on a Renault Captur?
