Yes. 2019 to 2023 cars have wired CarPlay on the 8.8-inch Mazda Connect screen, and a small adapter plugged into the USB hub in the armrest lets the phone connect over Wi-Fi as soon as you get in. Cars from the 2023 update usually have wireless CarPlay from the factory, so send the reg and we check which you have.
My CX-30 is a Japanese import. Does CarPlay work?
On most imported CX-30s CarPlay itself works, because Mazda Connect is the same system, but the navigation maps and the FM band are set for Japan. We change the region, fit an FM band expander where needed and set the language of the head unit. Changing the dashboard language is a separate job we can do at the same visit.
How much does CarPlay cost on a Mazda CX-30?
It depends on the generation. DM (2019–2023): from €250; DM update (2023 on): from €250. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.
