Mk1 cars from 2013 to 2018 for the Android screen, because neither the basic radio nor Media Nav had CarPlay, and Mk2 cars for a wireless adapter on Media Nav Evolution or Media Display plus a reversing camera. Mk3 owners come for cameras and rear sensors. Petrol, diesel and 4x4 cars are the same job; only the radio type matters.

Yes. Renault-badged Dusters imported from outside Europe share the dashboard, radios and wiring with the Dacia, so the Android screen, camera and sensor kits are the same parts; the only thing we check is the radio type, as some import trims came with a different Media Nav. CarPlay: Android screen on the Mk1, wireless adapter on Mk2 Media Nav cars, built-in wireless CarPlay on the Mk3. Car radio: Our Duster-specific Android screen replaces the basic radio or Media Nav on the Mk1 and base Mk2 cars. Parking sensors: A rear-only kit of four bumper sensors with an audible warning, no screen display. Reversing camera: Camera on the Android screen or a mirror on the Mk1, on Media Nav or Media Display on the Mk2 and Mk3. Ambient lighting: Ambient LED kits in doors and dash, extended factory ambient on newer cars, app controlled. Speakers: Plug-in door speakers and tweeters, factory head unit and amplifier kept, no cutting. Dash cam: Hardwired from the fuse box with parking mode and a low-voltage cut-off, cables hidden. Subwoofer: Under-seat or boot subwoofer on a DSP amplifier fed from the factory unit, boot space kept. Soundproofing: Doors and floor treated with butyl and foam, trim refitted without marks.

CarPlay: under an hour for activation, two to four hours for a box or a screen. Car radio: two to three hours, usually the same day. Parking sensors: two to three hours. Reversing camera: two to three hours. Most Duster owners wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
