How long does dash cam take on a BMW X1?
One to two hours for a front camera, about two with a rear camera on the BMW X1 E84, F48 and U11. You can wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
What stays factory when you fit dash cam on a BMW X1?
On every X1 we work on — E84, F48 and U11 — nothing is cut: the camera runs off fuse taps with a low-voltage cut-off, so parking mode records and stops before the battery is flat.
