How long does dash cam take on a BMW 3 Series?
One to two hours for a front camera, about two with a rear camera on the BMW 3 Series E90, F30 and G20. You can wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
What stays factory when you fit dash cam on a BMW 3 Series?
On every 3 Series we work on — E90, F30 and G20 — nothing is cut: the camera runs off fuse taps with a low-voltage cut-off, so parking mode records and stops before the battery is flat.
