The 2010 to 2013 car with the Blue&Me radio, nearly always for the Android unit with wireless CarPlay, and the 2014 to 2016 facelift with the Uconnect 5-inch for the same reason. Cars with the 6.5-inch nav come for the interface box or, on late cars, a wireless adapter. Bose cars keep the factory amplifier on every route.

The 2010 to 2013 car has the Blue&Me radio with no screen and a chrome-ringed grille; the 2014 facelift brought the Uconnect touchscreen, a honeycomb grille and new badges; the 2016 facelift changed the grille to the Giulia style. CarPlay: Our Giulietta Android unit on Blue&Me and 5-inch cars, an interface on Uconnect 6.5, an adapter on late cars. Car radio: A 9-inch Giulietta Android screen for Blue&Me and Uconnect 5-inch cars; 6.5-inch nav cars keep the screen. Reversing camera: Camera on the factory screen where it supports it, a mirror monitor or Android screen where it does not. Ambient lighting: Ambient LED kits in doors and dash, extended factory ambient on newer cars, app controlled. Speakers: Plug-in door speakers and tweeters, factory head unit and amplifier kept, no cutting. Parking sensors: Four sensors in the rear bumper with a buzzer that beeps faster; sound only. Dash cam: Hardwired from the fuse box with parking mode and a low-voltage cut-off, cables hidden. Subwoofer: Under-seat or boot subwoofer on a DSP amplifier fed from the factory unit, boot space kept. Soundproofing: Doors and floor treated with butyl and foam, trim refitted without marks.

CarPlay: under an hour for activation, two to four hours for a box or a screen. Car radio: two to three hours, usually the same day. Reversing camera: two to three hours. Ambient lighting: two to four hours. Most Giulietta owners wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
