The Blue&Me radio has no screen, so a 9-inch touchscreen with a Giulietta fascia goes into its place: wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, DAB, Bluetooth calls and a reversing camera input, with the steering-wheel buttons and the factory microphone kept through a CAN adapter. It is the most common Giulietta job we do and takes about half a day.
Can I keep the Uconnect 6.5 nav and add CarPlay?
Yes. On 2014-on cars with the Uconnect 6.5-inch nav an interface box sits behind the screen and puts CarPlay and Android Auto on it, worked from the touchscreen and the steering buttons, so the Alfa look stays. Most 2018-on cars with the 6.5-inch already have CarPlay from the factory, and those only need a wireless adapter. Send the reg and we check which unit is in the car.
