With our MiTo Android unit. The Blue&Me radio on 2008 to 2013 cars has no screen, so a touchscreen with a MiTo fascia goes into its place: wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, DAB, Bluetooth calls and a reversing camera input, with the steering-wheel buttons and the factory microphone kept through a CAN adapter. The dash is not cut and the job takes about half a day.
Does any MiTo have CarPlay from the factory?
Only a few of the last cars with the Uconnect 6.5-inch nav, and those need just a wireless adapter. Most 2014-on cars have the Uconnect 5-inch radio, which cannot mirror a phone, so they take the same Android unit as the earlier car with the facelift fascia. Cars with the earlier 6.5-inch nav can keep it with an interface box behind the screen. Send the reg and we tell you which yours is.
