Ask on WhatsAppMy Superb Mk3 has no SmartLink option in the menu. Can it be added?
Usually yes. The Mk3 uses MIB2 units from 2015, and on most of them CarPlay and Android Auto are in the software and only switched off because the option was not ordered. We enable it by coding in under an hour. A few early or base units will not take it; those cars get an Android screen with wireless CarPlay instead. Send the reg and a photo of the home screen and we check first.
How much does CarPlay cost on a Škoda Superb?
It depends on the generation. 3T (2008–2015): from €290; 3V (2015–2023): from €200; 3Y (2024 on): from €250. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

How long does CarPlay take on a Škoda Superb?
3T: two to three hours; 3V: under an hour; 3Y: about an hour. You can wait at the workshop or drop the Superb in the morning and collect it the same day.
What stays factory when you fit CarPlay on a Škoda Superb?
3T: the display is replaced, but the steering-wheel buttons, the factory amplifier and the climate controls are kept. 3V: nothing physical changes — the MIB2 Swing, Bolero, Amundsen or Columbus 8-inch from launch; 9.2-inch Columbus on the 2019 facelift; SmartLink optional, standard on most later cars stays and the CarPlay tile simply appears. 3Y: CarPlay is factory-fitted, so we only add to it.
Do I need to book CarPlay for my Škoda Superb, and is there a warranty?
