Sometimes. Bolero and Amundsen units from around 2016 could be ordered with SmartLink, and on those the function can be switched on by coding when it was left out. The Swing radio never had it, and that is the unit in most Fabias we see, so the usual answer on a 2014 to 2021 Mk3 is our Fabia screen kit with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. A photo of the home screen tells us which you have.
Is the Fabia screen wireless?
Yes. The Fabia kit runs wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, so the phone connects when you get in, and it also has Bluetooth, DAB, a reverse camera input and the steering-wheel buttons kept. Fitting is a couple of hours, so the car is back the same day. It fits Mk2 and Mk3 cars; the Mk4 keeps its MIB3 unit, which already has CarPlay.
How much does CarPlay cost on a Škoda Fabia?
