How long does car radio take on a Porsche 911?
Two to three hours, usually the same day on the Porsche 911 997, 991 and 992. You can wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
What stays factory when you fit car radio on a Porsche 911?
On every 911 we work on — 997, 991 and 992 — the steering-wheel buttons, the factory amplifier and speakers, the reverse camera and the climate controls stay; the new unit adds wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, DAB and a camera input.
