Radio King does head unit upgrade on every Mazda 6 generation we see: GG / GY (2002–2008): Android screen with a fascia and harness for the GG dashboard; steering-wheel buttons kept, DAB and a camera input, Bose amplifier retained; GH (2008–2012): Android screen with a canbus adapter so the steering-wheel buttons, the top display and the Bose amplifier keep working; DAB and a camera input included; GJ (2012–2018): 9-inch Android screen with a GJ fascia on TomTom cars; MZD Connect cars usually keep the factory unit and add the CarPlay kit; GJ facelift / GL (2018–2023): MZD Connect stays on Irish cars; an Android screen with the Commander knob retained on imported Atenzas with the Japanese unit. From €290. Send your reg and we confirm the route and the price the same day.
Find your years in the first two columns. The factory system decides the route, and the route decides the price — send the reg if you are not sure which one you have.

6 car radio first, then other Mazda work from the Dublin 11 workshop: what was fitted and what changed on the dash.

Generation-by-generation guides first, then everything else the workshop does on a Mazda.

Ask on WhatsAppYes. Bose cars have a separate amplifier and a boot subwoofer, and the Android screen is wired through an adapter that feeds that amplifier, so every speaker keeps playing and fade and balance still work. This applies to GG, GH and GJ cars alike. The steering-wheel buttons are kept through the same canbus adapter.
It depends on the generation. GG / GY (2002–2008): from €290; GH (2008–2012): from €290; GJ (2012–2018): from €290; GJ facelift / GL (2018–2023): from €290. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

Two to three hours, usually the same day on the Mazda 6 GG, GH and GJ. You can wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
On every 6 we work on — GG, GH and GJ — the steering-wheel buttons, the factory amplifier and speakers, the reverse camera and the climate controls stay; the new unit adds wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, DAB and a camera input.
