It depends on the screen. 2019–2022 cars are wired whatever the trim, and so is the 10.25-inch navigation in the 2022 facelift; on those a wireless adapter in the USB port pairs the phone automatically. The 8-inch display audio in the facelift is wireless from the factory and needs nothing. Send the reg and we tell you which screen your car has.
Is the XCeed the same as the Ceed for this?
Yes. The XCeed shares its dashboard, screens and USB ports with the Ceed hatch of the same year, so the same adapter and the same set-up apply, plug-in hybrid included. The work takes about half an hour, the adapter is hidden in the console, and the factory screen and steering-wheel buttons carry on exactly as before.
How much does CarPlay cost on a Kia XCeed?
It depends on the generation. CD (2019–2022): from €250; CD-PE (2022 on): from €250. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

How long does CarPlay take on a Kia XCeed?
CD: about an hour; CD-PE: two to three hours. You can wait at the workshop or drop the XCeed in the morning and collect it the same day.
What stays factory when you fit CarPlay on a Kia XCeed?
CD: CarPlay is factory-fitted, so we only add to it. CD-PE: the display is replaced, but the steering-wheel buttons, the factory amplifier and the climate controls are kept.
Do I need to book CarPlay for my Kia XCeed, and is there a warranty?
Yes — send the reg or the year and generation (CD and CD-PE) on WhatsApp or the form below, and we confirm the route, the price and the next free slot. The work carries a one-year warranty, and the workshop is in Rosemount Business Park, Dublin 11, Monday to Saturday.
