Ask on WhatsAppHow much does dash cam cost on a Kia Ceed?
It depends on the generation. ED (2007–2012): from €200; JD (2012–2018): from €200; CD (2018 on): from €200. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.
Which Kia Ceed years can have dash cam?
ED, built 2007–2012 (CD radio with a small display, Bluetooth on later cars; no touchscreen on most, factory navigation was rare): Hardwired from the fuse box with a low-voltage cut-off; front camera tucked behind the mirror, rear camera along the headliner, the CD radio untouched. How long does dash cam take on a Kia Ceed?
One to two hours for a front camera, about two with a rear camera on the Kia Ceed ED, JD and CD. You can wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
What stays factory when you fit dash cam on a Kia Ceed?
On every Ceed we work on — ED, JD and CD — nothing is cut: the camera runs off fuse taps with a low-voltage cut-off, so parking mode records and stops before the battery is flat.
Do I need to book dash cam for my Kia Ceed, and is there a warranty?
Yes — send the reg or the year and generation (ED, JD and CD) on WhatsApp or the form below, and we confirm the route, the price and the next free slot. The work carries a one-year warranty, and the workshop is in Rosemount Business Park, Dublin 11, Monday to Saturday.
