A Wrangler-specific 10-inch Android screen in place of the RES radio or Uconnect 430. It fills the dash opening with a matching fascia, keeps the climate controls and steering-wheel buttons, has wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, DAB and a camera input, and the Alpine amplifier stays on cars that have it. Cars with the 430N navigation are checked for a CarPlay interface first, which keeps the factory screen.
Does the JL Wrangler need anything for CarPlay?
No parts on most cars. Uconnect 4 and 4C have wired CarPlay and Android Auto from 2018, and Uconnect 5 on the 2024 facelift has them wireless. Where the car is wired only, a small adapter on the USB port makes it wireless, and we clear pairing faults on the spot, usually within the hour.
How much does CarPlay cost on a Jeep Wrangler?
It depends on the generation. TJ (1997–2006): from €290; JK (2007–2018): from €290; JL (2018 on): from €250. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.
