No. Uconnect 5.0 and 6.5 in 2015 to 2018 cars never had CarPlay in the software, so there is nothing to activate. The route is a Renegade-specific Android screen that fills the dash opening with a matching fascia, keeps the climate controls and steering-wheel buttons, and runs wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. Facelift cars from 2019 have it from the factory.
How much does CarPlay cost on a Jeep Renegade?
It depends on the generation. BU (2015–2018): from €290; Facelift (2019 on): from €250. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

BU: two to three hours; Facelift: about an hour. You can wait at the workshop or drop the Renegade in the morning and collect it the same day.
What stays factory when you fit CarPlay on a Jeep Renegade?
BU: the display is replaced, but the steering-wheel buttons, the factory amplifier and the climate controls are kept. Facelift: CarPlay is factory-fitted, so we only add to it.
Do I need to book CarPlay for my Jeep Renegade, and is there a warranty?
Yes — send the reg or the year and generation (BU and Facelift) on WhatsApp or the form below, and we confirm the route, the price and the next free slot. The work carries a one-year warranty, and the workshop is in Rosemount Business Park, Dublin 11, Monday to Saturday.
