Radio King does CarPlay and Android Auto retrofit on every Jeep Compass generation we see: MK (2007–2016): Compass-specific Android screen with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto in place of the RES radio or Uconnect 430, fascia and climate controls kept; steering-wheel buttons kept through a CAN adapter; MP (2017 on): Factory-fitted on Uconnect 4, 8.4 NAV and Uconnect 5; wired-only cars get a wireless adapter, and base cars with the 5-inch Uconnect 5.0 have no CarPlay and are quoted for an Android upgrade instead. Most do. Second-generation cars from 2017 with the 7-inch Uconnect 4 or the 8.4 NAV have wired CarPlay and Android Auto from the factory, and a small adapter makes them wireless. From the 2021 facelift Uconnect 5 has both wireless. Base cars with the 5-inch Uconnect 5.0 radio have no CarPlay and nothing to activate, so those get a Compass-specific Android screen instead.
Can CarPlay be added to a first-generation Compass?
Yes, with an Android screen. The 2007 to 2016 MK has a CD radio or Uconnect 430 with nothing to activate, so the screen replaces the radio behind a matching fascia, keeps the climate controls and steering-wheel buttons and runs wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, with DAB and a reversing camera input as a bonus. Fitting is a few hours.
How much does CarPlay cost on a Jeep Compass?
It depends on the generation. MK (2007–2016): from €290; MP (2017 on): from €250. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

How long does CarPlay take on a Jeep Compass?
MK: two to three hours; MP: about an hour. You can wait at the workshop or drop the Compass in the morning and collect it the same day.
What stays factory when you fit CarPlay on a Jeep Compass?
MK: the display is replaced, but the steering-wheel buttons, the factory amplifier and the climate controls are kept. MP: CarPlay is factory-fitted, so we only add to it.
