Radio King does head unit upgrade on every Jaguar XF generation we see: X250 (2008–2015): 10.25-inch Android screen in place of the 7-inch unit with wireless CarPlay, DAB and a camera input; the climate functions carry over to the new screen; X260 (2015 on): Android screen in the InControl position with wireless CarPlay, DAB and a camera input for 2016–2020 cars; Pivi Pro cars keep their screen. How long does car radio take on a Jaguar XF?
Two to three hours, usually the same day on the Jaguar XF X250 and X260. You can wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
What stays factory when you fit car radio on a Jaguar XF?
On every XF we work on — X250 and X260 — the steering-wheel buttons, the factory amplifier and speakers, the reverse camera and the climate controls stay; the new unit adds wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, DAB and a camera input.
Do I need to book car radio for my Jaguar XF, and is there a warranty?
