Radio King does reversing camera installation on every Isuzu D-Max generation we see: TFR / TFS (2002–2012): Camera above the number plate or in the tailgate handle, shown on the Android screen or on a mirror monitor if you keep the factory radio; cable run inside the chassis rail; RT50 (2012–2020): Camera on the tailgate fed into the factory touchscreen on Yukon, Utah and Blade trucks; on the Utility shown on the Android screen or a mirror monitor; RG (2021 on): Factory camera on DL40 and V-Cross; a camera added to Utility and DL20 trucks and fed into the factory touchscreen, with a tailgate cable run along the chassis. From €200 incl. VAT. Send your reg and we confirm the route and the price the same day.
Find your years in the first two columns. The factory system decides the route, and the route decides the price — send the reg if you are not sure which one you have.
| Generation | Years | Factory system | How we do it | From (incl. VAT) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TFR / TFS | 2002–2012 | CD radio in a double-DIN slot with no screen | Camera above the number plate or in the tailgate handle, shown on the Android screen or on a mirror monitor if you keep the factory radio; cable run inside the chassis rail | from €200 |
| RT50 | 2012–2020 | CD radio without a screen on the Utility; a 7 or 8-inch touchscreen with navigation on Yukon, Utah and Blade, without CarPlay on most cars | Camera on the tailgate fed into the factory touchscreen on Yukon, Utah and Blade trucks; on the Utility shown on the Android screen or a mirror monitor | from €200 |
| RG | 2021 on | 7-inch touchscreen on DL20 and Utility, 9-inch on DL40 and V-Cross; CarPlay and Android Auto from the factory, wireless CarPlay on the 9-inch | Factory camera on DL40 and V-Cross; a camera added to Utility and DL20 trucks and fed into the factory touchscreen, with a tailgate cable run along the chassis | from €200 |
Book the reversing camera install, let us photograph the finished car for a case study, and you get a discount on the fitting. Every D-Max owner after you gets a real example to look at.
Generation-by-generation guides first, then everything else the workshop does on a Isuzu.
Answers for D-Max owners. Something else? Message us on WhatsApp — we usually reply in under 5 minutes.
Ask on WhatsAppOn RG trucks from 2021 yes, including the Utility and DL20 that came without one: the camera goes on the tailgate and is fed into the factory touchscreen. RT50 trucks with the Yukon, Utah or Blade touchscreen take a camera the same way. A Utility with the CD radio has no screen, so the camera shows on an Android screen or a mirror monitor.
Inside the chassis rail from the cab to the tailgate, in conduit and clipped away from the exhaust and the towbar wiring, so it survives a wet load bed and a tow. The camera sits above the number plate or in the tailgate handle, and a tailgate drop does not pull on the cable. Trucks with a canopy or a tonneau are done the same way.
It depends on the generation. TFR / TFS (2002–2012): from €200; RT50 (2012–2020): from €200; RG (2021 on): from €200. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

RT50, built 2012–2020 (CD radio without a screen on the Utility; a 7 or 8-inch touchscreen with navigation on Yukon, Utah and Blade, without CarPlay on most cars): Camera on the tailgate fed into the factory touchscreen on Yukon, Utah and Blade trucks; on the Utility shown on the Android screen or a mirror monitor. Two to three hours on the Isuzu D-Max TFR, RT50 and RG. You can wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
On every D-Max we work on — TFR, RT50 and RG — the parking sensors keep working and the camera comes up automatically in reverse, with guidelines where the screen supports them.
Yes — send the reg or the year and generation (TFR, RT50 and RG) on WhatsApp or the form below, and we confirm the route, the price and the next free slot. The work carries a one-year warranty, and the workshop is in Rosemount Business Park, Dublin 11, Monday to Saturday.
The same job on other Isuzu series, the make hub and the guides that go with this page.
Tell us the year — we'll confirm the generation, the route, the price and the next free slot.
