Radio King does CarPlay and Android Auto retrofit on every Isuzu D-Max generation we see: TFR / TFS (2002–2012): Android screen with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto in the double-DIN slot with a fascia for the truck; the factory radio has no screen to feed; RT50 (2012–2020): Android screen with a fascia for the RT50 dashboard in place of the CD radio or the factory touchscreen, steering-wheel buttons kept; RG (2021 on): Factory CarPlay is already there; we add a wireless adapter on the 7-inch trucks and sort Android Auto and map region on imported ones. Yes. Every RG from 2021 has CarPlay and Android Auto on the factory touchscreen: the 9-inch on DL40 and V-Cross connects wirelessly, the 7-inch on Utility and DL20 needs a cable, and we add an adapter to make it wireless. RT50 trucks from 2012 to 2020 and the earlier TFR have no CarPlay path, so those get an Android screen in the double-DIN slot.
How much does CarPlay cost on a Isuzu D-Max?
It depends on the generation. TFR / TFS (2002–2012): from €290; RT50 (2012–2020): from €290; RG (2021 on): from €250. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.
