Fiat Ducato upgrades, generation by generation.

Motorhomes on the 2006 to 2014 X250 and the 2014 to 2021 X290, nearly always for the Android screen and a reversing camera together: the original radio has no screen and reversing a seven-metre coachbuilt without a camera is no fun. Panel vans come for the same two jobs, and 2021-on vans for a camera on the factory 10-inch screen.

Yes. The Boxer, the Relay and the Jumper are the Ducato with a different badge, built on the same line with the same dash, radios and wiring, so the same screen, fascia, camera and speaker kits fit, and from 2021 the Opel Movano joins them. Book any of them as a Ducato and the route is the same.

Usually, yes. A screen alone is half a day, but a camera cable through the habitation area, a second camera or a mirror monitor makes it a day, and large coachbuilts are booked as a day for the space they need. The Dublin 11 workshop has room for a motorhome up to about seven and a half metres; tell us the length when you book.

Car radio: Our 9-inch Ducato Android screen for 2006–2016 vans and campers, replacing Uconnect 5-inch on later vans. Reversing camera: Rear-door or rear-wall camera on the Android screen, into Uconnect, or a mirror monitor; motorhomes welcome. Speakers: Plug-in door speakers and tweeters on every Ducato, an under-seat woofer on request for motorhomes. CarPlay: The Ducato Android screen on vans without a screen, a wireless adapter where Uconnect already has CarPlay. Ambient lighting: Ambient LED strips in the cab doors and dash, colour from your phone. Parking sensors: Colour-matched sensors with a factory-style tone, shown on the screen where the car supports it. Dash cam: Hardwired from the fuse box with parking mode and a low-voltage cut-off, cables hidden. Subwoofer: Under-seat subwoofer with its own amplifier, nothing in the load area. Soundproofing: Cab doors, floor and bulkhead treated; load area on request.

Car radio: two to three hours, usually the same day. Reversing camera: two to three hours. Speakers: two to four hours depending on how many speakers are changed. CarPlay: under an hour for activation, two to four hours for a box or a screen. Most Ducato owners wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
