Feel and Flair cars with the 7-inch touchscreen do, wired over USB, and the usual job there is a wireless adapter so the phone connects on its own. Entry cars that came with the basic Bluetooth radio have no screen, so they take a C3-specific Android screen with wireless CarPlay. The Mk4 from 2024 has wireless CarPlay built in on cars with the 10.25-inch screen.
Can a 2012 Citroën C3 with the RD45 radio get CarPlay?
Yes, with a C3-specific Android screen in place of the radio: the RD45 has no display, so a box would have nothing to show on. The screen fits the factory opening with a matching fascia, keeps the column stalk controls and adds wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, DAB and a camera input. It is the C3 job we do most, on cars from 2009 to 2016.
