Radio King does CarPlay and Android Auto retrofit on every SEAT Ibiza generation we see: 6L (2002–2008): Android screen with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto in the factory radio opening with a fascia adapter, steering-wheel buttons kept where fitted; 6J / 6P (2008–2017): Ibiza Android screen replacing the SEAT Sound System or Media System 2.2 on 6J cars; Full Link activation by coding on 6P cars with Media System Plus where the unit supports it, an interface box where it does not; KJ (2017 on): Full Link activation by coding on MIB2 cars where it was not ordered, plus a wireless adapter for the wired systems; facelift MIB3 cars usually have wireless CarPlay already, so the work there is maps and region on imports. KJ cars from 2017 with Media System Plus or Navi System have Full Link in the software on most builds, and where it was not ordered we enable it by coding in about an hour. Some 6P facelift cars from 2015 to 2017 with Media System Plus can be coded the same way. 6J cars with the SEAT Sound System or Media System 2.2 and every 6L have nothing to activate, so those get the Ibiza Android screen.
Can my Ibiza have wireless CarPlay?
Yes. On MIB2 cars Full Link is wired by design, so a wireless adapter plugs into the USB port and the phone connects on its own each time. Facelift KJ cars from 2021 on MIB3 usually have wireless Full Link already. On 6J and 6L cars the Ibiza Android screen we fit has wireless CarPlay and Android Auto built in.
How much does CarPlay cost on a SEAT Ibiza?
It depends on the generation. 6L (2002–2008): from €290; 6J / 6P (2008–2017): from €250; KJ (2017 on): from €250. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

How long does CarPlay take on a SEAT Ibiza?
6L: two to three hours; 6J / 6P: under an hour; KJ: under an hour. You can wait at the workshop or drop the Ibiza in the morning and collect it the same day.
What stays factory when you fit CarPlay on a SEAT Ibiza?
6L: the display is replaced, but the steering-wheel buttons, the factory amplifier and the climate controls are kept. 6J / 6P: nothing physical changes — the SEAT Sound System or Media System 2.2 on 6J cars; Media System Touch or Media System Plus on the 6P facelift from 2015, Full Link optional on the Plus unit stays and the CarPlay tile simply appears. KJ: nothing physical changes — the 8-inch Media System Plus or Navi System (MIB2) with Full Link on 2017–2021 cars; 8.25 or 9.2-inch MIB3 from the 2021 facelift with wireless Full Link on most cars stays and the CarPlay tile simply appears.
Do I need to book CarPlay for my SEAT Ibiza, and is there a warranty?
Yes — send the reg or the year and generation (6L, 6J and KJ) on WhatsApp or the form below, and we confirm the route, the price and the next free slot. The work carries a one-year warranty, and the workshop is in Rosemount Business Park, Dublin 11, Monday to Saturday.
