With our Astra J Android screen. The CD300, CD400, Navi 600, Navi 650 and Navi 900 units of 2009 to 2015 have no phone mirroring, so the 9-inch unit goes into their place with a matching fascia and keeps the climate display, the steering buttons and the factory speakers. Wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, DAB and a camera input are built in. The job takes about half a day.
Does the Astra K have CarPlay from the factory?
Yes, every Astra K from 2015 with R4.0 IntelliLink or Navi 900 IntelliLink has wired CarPlay and Android Auto, and the 2019 facelift with Multimedia Navi does too. The upgrade there is a wireless adapter that pairs the phone as you get in. If the CarPlay menu is missing, the car usually has the entry radio without a screen, and that takes the Android unit.
How much does CarPlay cost on a Opel Astra?
