Mitsubishi L200 · Car radio

Mitsubishi L200 Android screen & radio upgrade, generation by generation.

Radio King does head unit upgrade on every Mitsubishi L200 generation we see: K74 (1996–2006): Android screen in a double-DIN fascia made from the radio slot and the pocket, or a single-DIN unit with a screen where the dash will not take it; DAB and Bluetooth either way; KB4T (2006–2015): Android screen with the Series 4 fascia, steering-wheel buttons kept; the Barbarian's touchscreen nav comes out and its reversing camera moves to the new screen; KK/KL (2015–2021): Android screen in the Series 5 and 6 opening with the factory camera and steering-wheel buttons kept; SDA cabs mostly keep the factory unit. From €290. Send your reg and we confirm the route and the price the same day.

Car radio on each L200: how we do it.

Find your years in the first two columns. The factory system decides the route, and the route decides the price — send the reg if you are not sure which one you have.

FAQ

Mitsubishi L200 car radio: questions people ask.

Answers for L200 owners. Something else? Message us on WhatsApp — we usually reply in under 5 minutes.

Ask on WhatsApp
Which L200 takes a double-DIN screen without cutting?

Series 4 (KB4T, 2006 to 2015) and Series 5 and 6 (2015 to 2021) both have a double-DIN opening, so the Android screen goes in with an L200 fascia and a Mitsubishi harness, keeping the steering-wheel buttons and the factory camera where there is one. The K74 has a single-DIN slot with a pocket beneath; a double-DIN fascia uses both on most cabs, otherwise a single-DIN unit with a screen goes in.

Can the Barbarian's factory nav be replaced?

Yes. The touchscreen nav in Series 4 Barbarian cabs, MMCS or the Kenwood unit fitted by the importer, sits in the same opening as the CD radio, so it comes out and an Android screen with DAB, wireless CarPlay and Android Auto goes in. The reversing camera that came with the nav is wired to the new screen so nothing is lost.

How much does car radio cost on a Mitsubishi L200?

It depends on the generation. K74 (1996–2006): from €290; KB4T (2006–2015): from €290; KK/KL (2015–2021): from €290. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

Which Mitsubishi L200 years can have car radio?

K74, built 1996–2006 (Radio-cassette or CD radio in a single-DIN slot with a pocket beneath on most cabs; no factory screen): Android screen in a double-DIN fascia made from the radio slot and the pocket, or a single-DIN unit with a screen where the dash will not take it; DAB and Bluetooth either way. KB4T, built 2006–2015 (Mitsubishi CD radio on Titan and Warrior; a touchscreen nav, MMCS or a Kenwood unit fitted by the importer, on Barbarian and some Warrior cabs): Android screen with the Series 4 fascia, steering-wheel buttons kept; the Barbarian's touchscreen nav comes out and its reversing camera moves to the new screen. KK/KL, built 2015–2021 (DAB radio with a display on Titan; touchscreen on Warrior and Barbarian, SDA with CarPlay and Android Auto from around 2017 and on the 2019 Series 6): Android screen in the Series 5 and 6 opening with the factory camera and steering-wheel buttons kept; SDA cabs mostly keep the factory unit.

How long does car radio take on a Mitsubishi L200?

Two to three hours, usually the same day on the Mitsubishi L200 K74, KB4T and KK. You can wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.

What stays factory when you fit car radio on a Mitsubishi L200?

On every L200 we work on — K74, KB4T and KK — the steering-wheel buttons, the factory amplifier and speakers, the reverse camera and the climate controls stay; the new unit adds wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, DAB and a camera input.

Do I need to book car radio for my Mitsubishi L200, and is there a warranty?

Yes — send the reg or the year and generation (K74, KB4T and KK) on WhatsApp or the form below, and we confirm the route, the price and the next free slot. The work carries a one-year warranty, and the workshop is in Rosemount Business Park, Dublin 11, Monday to Saturday.
