If it is a 2018 or later F60 with NBT Evo, the touchscreen unit with the tiled menu, CarPlay is usually there and switched off, or it expired with the MINI subscription. We enable it by coding in under an hour, no parts. 2017 cars with NBT or the Boost radio never had it in the software, so those get a CarPlay box on the factory screen. Send the VIN and we check the build sheet.
How much does CarPlay cost on a MINI Countryman?
It depends on the generation. R60 (2010–2016): from €650; F60 (2017–2023): not available; U25 (2024 on): from €250. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

How long does CarPlay take on a MINI Countryman?
R60: two to four hours; F60: under an hour; U25: about an hour. You can wait at the workshop or drop the Countryman in the morning and collect it the same day.
What stays factory when you fit CarPlay on a MINI Countryman?
R60: the Boost CD radio in the centre dial; Visual Boost with a 6.5-inch screen or the MINI navigation system (CIC-based) in the same dial on higher-spec cars and its controls stay; the box sits behind the trim and is switched from the factory buttons. F60: nothing physical changes — the MINI Boost radio with a 6.5-inch screen or MINI Navigation with NBT on 2017 cars; NBT Evo (ID5/ID6) with a 6.5 or 8.8-inch touchscreen from 2018, wireless CarPlay as a factory option stays and the CarPlay tile simply appears. U25: CarPlay is factory-fitted, so we only add to it.
