Above the rear doors on a bracket, angled down to show the bumper line, and on box or Luton bodies at the top of the rear frame. The picture comes up when you select reverse on the Android screen we fit, on a 7-inch dash monitor if the Iveco radio stays, or on the Hi-Connect screen on 2019 and later vans that have the camera prep. The cable runs inside the roof lining and along the body.
Can you fit a camera to a chassis cab before the body goes on?
Yes, and it is the easier way round. We run the cable and fit the monitor or screen in the cab, leave a tail at the rear of the chassis for the body builder, and mount and adjust the camera once the body is on. That applies to 2006 to 2014 vans, the 2014 Daily and the MY2019 facelift alike.
