If it has the Uconnect 7-inch HD Live touchscreen, yes: CarPlay and Android Auto are wired through the USB port and a wireless adapter is the only upgrade. The Uconnect 5-inch on Easy and many Lounge cars from 2016 to 2020 has no phone mirroring at all, and those take an Android screen with a Tipo fascia in its place. Send the reg and we tell you which one is in the car.
Is CarPlay wireless on the facelift Tipo?
On cars with the 10.25-inch Uconnect 5 screen it usually is, so nothing needs adding; on the 7-inch Uconnect it is wired, and the wireless adapter plugs into the USB port, hides in the console and connects the phone as you get in. If CarPlay keeps dropping out on either screen, that is nearly always a cable or a phone setting, and we sort it in the same visit.
