On the 2019 to 2024 car an app-controlled LED kit in the doors, dash and footwells, following the single strip some trims have and adding light where there is none. On the 2024-on car, which has multi-colour ambient lighting on most trims, we add footwells, door pockets and the console in a matched colour. Either way it runs from an ignition-switched supply and never drains the battery.
How much does ambient lighting cost on a MG HS?
It depends on the generation. Mk1 (2019–2024): from €800; Mk2 (2024 on): from €800. Fitting is done at our Dublin 11 workshop — send the reg and we confirm the exact price before you book.

How long does ambient lighting take on a MG HS?
Two to four hours on the MG HS Mk1 and Mk2. You can wait at the workshop or drop the car in the morning and collect it the same day.
What stays factory when you fit ambient lighting on a MG HS?
On every HS we work on — Mk1 and Mk2 — the kit runs off a fused feed and the factory ambient lighting stays; colour and brightness are set from your phone.
Do I need to book ambient lighting for my MG HS, and is there a warranty?
Yes — send the reg or the year and generation (Mk1 and Mk2) on WhatsApp or the form below, and we confirm the route, the price and the next free slot. The work carries a one-year warranty, and the workshop is in Rosemount Business Park, Dublin 11, Monday to Saturday.
