FAQ

Questions people ask.

Answers about this Honda Grace job. Something else? Message us on WhatsApp — we usually reply in under 5 minutes.

Ask on WhatsApp
Can Apple CarPlay be retrofitted to Honda models?

In most cases yes. Either an interface is added behind the factory screen, or the head unit is replaced with one that has CarPlay built in. Which route suits Honda models depends on the year and the screen it was built with — we confirm that before quoting.

Will the steering wheel controls still work?

Yes. The new unit connects through a Honda Grace harness and, where the car needs one, a steering wheel interface, so the volume, track and call buttons keep working. A reversing camera can be connected to the same screen.

Is anything cut during the install?

No. The kit uses a fascia and plug-in harness made for the Honda Grace, so the factory wiring is not cut. Keep the original radio and the car can go back to stock later if you want.

How long does the fitting take?

Most CarPlay retrofits are done in a few hours, so the car is usually back with you the same day. We book a slot at our Dublin 11 workshop and confirm timing once we know the exact year and trim.
