One thing the language conversion does not change is the radio. Japanese-market tuners cover 76–95 MHz, so most Irish stations above 95 MHz stay silent until the tuner is recoded; that is a separate job, Japanese FM band coding, often done on the same visit. Which Honda models can be converted from Japanese to English?

Honda Fit GP5, Jazz GP5, Shuttle GP5, Vezel, Grace and Jade from 2013 to 2021. Other Japanese imports may be possible depending on the model and year, so send us the details and a photo of the cluster.

Do I have to bring the car to Dublin for the conversion?

No. You can visit the workshop in Dublin 11, or send the dashboard or instrument cluster by post and we convert it and return it. Customers from all over Ireland use both options.

Does the language conversion fix the Japanese radio band?

No. The language of the menus and the FM tuner are separate systems. Japanese tuners cover 76–95 MHz, so the radio stays on that band until it is recoded to the Irish range, which is a separate job we usually do on the same visit.

What exactly is converted to English?

The instrument cluster, dashboard menus and notifications, the speedometer display, hybrid system information and the driver information display. The result keeps the factory look, with no aftermarket screens added.
