Terms and Conditions of Use – By Continuing, You Agree to Them
Refund Policy Radio King Ireland
- Money-Back Guarantee: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for the product cost only (labor costs are excluded).
- Finding the Best Solution: Refunds are our last resort; we aim to resolve issues to your satisfaction before considering a refund.
- Labor Costs: If a refund is issued, a minimum of 2 hours of labor will be charged for radio uninstallation. Labor is calculated based on the time spent on installation and uninstallation.
Original Equipment Disclaimer Radio King Ireland
- Radio Locking: Removing your original radio may activate theft protection, locking the radio. Unlock codes must be obtained from your supplier (common with Japanese imports). RADIOKING cannot assist with unlocking.
- Settings Reset: Unplugging your original radio may reset specific settings, requiring passwords or knowledge of the Japanese language to restore. We cannot assist with this.
Product Expectations Radio King Ireland
- Realistic Expectations: Our products are high-quality and functional, but they are not perfect and have value at a fair price. Manufacturer head units for non-premium cars cost €1,500+ and €3,000+ for premium vehicles. If you are looking for something BEST HIGH END, we can get it, but it will be more expensive.
- Plastic Frames Imperfection: Some plastic frames may be 1–3mm wider on certain sides due to manufacturing tolerances. Fitment may vary slightly.
- Original Functionality: Most radios support important original functions, but may not retain all. Some essential features may be lost.
Service Limitations Radio King Ireland
- No Compensation Policy: We do not offer compensation for reasons like a client being late somewhere or having to come back to us with an issue. This allows us to provide competitive pricing.
- Post-Installation Checks: Do not schedule inspections, meetings, or technical checks immediately after installation. Adjustments may be needed due to the complexity of car electronics; in rare cases, issues may arise that require adjustments and extra time.
- Purchasing of Radios: As each car from each region could be slightly different (Japanese, UK, Irish), we cannot guarantee that the cable that we send will work 100%, we might have to send you other ones. The best would be to get pictures of your original car cables. Also, some other minor incompatibilities can appear that we might not be able to fix.
- Revisits: Additional visits may be required for adjustments or compatibility settings. We ask for your patience.
- Commitment to Quality: We strive for a perfect installation, but may need to address software or compatibility issues afterward to ensure the best experience.
- Limitation of Liability: Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Force Majeure: We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, or government actions).
- Governing Law: These terms are governed by Irish law. Any disputes will be handled under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
- Data Privacy and Usage: We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to this. Clients may request to view, modify, or delete their personal data at any time.
- Installation Services Disclaimer: While we strive for excellence in our installation services, Radio King is not liable for any damage to the vehicle caused by pre-existing conditions or undisclosed modifications. Clients are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is in suitable condition for the requested services.
Pricing and Installation Variations
- Unexpected Installation Issues: Quoted prices may vary due to unexpected complications, such as damaged or severed original cables requiring repair. We always inform you and get your approval before applying any extra charges.
- Online vs. On-Site Quotes: Prices given via online chat may differ from those confirmed after a physical vehicle inspection. All final pricing is clearly communicated and approved prior to service.
Microphone and Calls
- Noise Limitations: Microphone performance may be affected by cars with internal noise levels above 70 dB.
- External Microphone Distance: Microphones are typically installed 50 cm away from the user, which may impact clarity. The more noise within, the stronger your voice must be.
Rear Screen Compatibility
- Original Screen Compatibility: Rear screens are often compatible only with the original radio. Integration attempts may not guarantee functionality.
- Settings Reset: Refunds or modifications may reset rear screen settings, even for the original screen. RADIOKING is not responsible for this.
Older Vehicles (7+ Years)
- Fragile Components: Plastic parts in older cars may become brittle and break during installation. We are not liable for such occurrences.
- Premium Cars: Older premium cars (e.g., BMW, Audi, Mercedes) may have electronic systems prone to failure due to age or sensitivity. If any part of your car stops working because it was touched or unplugged during installation. RADIOKING does not cover such issues.
Support
- Remote Support: We provide remote support as quickly as possible, but we may not respond immediately due to being a small team.
- Common Solutions: Most issues can be resolved by restarting, updating the radio/app, or reconnecting the phone.
- No Outcall Support: On-site support is not available. If remote assistance fails, you must bring the car to us.
Car Issues After Product Installation
- Battery: Radios or other products cannot damage car batteries. Long-term issues are often caused by factors like shipping with a flat battery (common in Japanese imports).
- Mechanical Damage: Our electronic products cannot cause mechanical damage to your car (e.g., flat tires, motor issues). Issues related to our installation are identified immediately.
- Service Charges: We are committed to providing exceptional support and will thoroughly investigate any concerns raised by our clients following the installation of our products. While it is extremely rare for issues to be caused by our/client’s product or its installation, if our investigation determines that the issue is unrelated to our product, a service charge will apply to cover the time and effort spent identifying the cause.
Installation of Client Equipment
- Hourly Charges: For the installation of client-supplied equipment or attempts to fix client-requested issues and unrelated to our product, charges are billed per hour. Please note that while we will do our best to assist, no guarantees of success are provided for such services.
- Incompatibility: If client equipment (e.g., frames, cables, reverse cameras) is found incompatible during installation, charges still apply.
- Poor-Quality Equipment: We are not responsible for issues caused by low-quality or defective client equipment (e.g., overheating, malfunctioning, or fire). Please read our article about bad-quality radios.
- Liability Waiver: If your equipment causes something in your car to stop working during installation, RADIOKING is not liable. We will do our best to prevent issues, but we cannot guarantee outcomes.
- System Sensitivity: Some vehicles (especially older premium cars) may experience issues simply because of their age. If any electrical part of your car stops working because it was touched or unplugged during installation, this is not RADIOKING’s responsibility.
Car Modifications
- Prior Approval: We will inform you beforehand if modifications (e.g., cutting or altering vehicle parts) are necessary.
- Irreversible Modifications: Modifications cannot be undone, and you agree to this before installation.
- Refund Limitations: Refunds only cover equipment costs, excluding labor. Vehicle modifications are non-refundable.
Dash Cam Terms
- Recording Responsibility: Ensure your dash cam is recording. Check for blinking red lights, error messages, or SD card warnings.
- SD Cards: Use high-quality SD cards, as they have a limited lifespan. Replace them as needed.
- Lost Footage: We are not responsible for unrecorded footage.
- Parking Mode: Parking mode only records upon physical impact, not continuously. Ensure parking mode functionality is checked periodically.
- OBD Connection: If parking mode uses the OBD plug connection and is removed, ensure it is reconnected for the dash cam to function.
